PixelSkies is a Remote Telescope Hosting site run by David & Michelle Wills, Colin Cooper & Samantha Sabbarton. We have 3 fully automated telescope observatories available for remote hosting of your equipment. We currently host numerous telescopes, both for astrophotography and science based data collection.

We pride ourselves on offering a unique service here at PixelSkies, We live on-site and we ourselves are astrophotographers. We offer a hands-on service to help maintain and facilitate you to achieve the best results possible. We have many years of experience and work in partnership with ICAstronomy and IkarusImaging which is full to capacity and houses 16 amateur and 11 professional telescope systems.

Our services include remote telescope hosting and maintenance of your equipment. We also offer various training courses to suit all levels of experience. We aim to pass on our many years of knowledge to fulfil your astrophotography needs.

Based in the north of the province of Granada we can offer some wonderfully dark skies. As we live on site this provides extra security and allows us to monitor your equipment more closely.

Our 3 custom built observatories have been designed and made to ensure that the telescopes can be parked in any position which will enable the roof to shut quickly in the event of cloud or rain. The roof is designed to allow airflow to help shorten the equalization time of the mirrors. The roofs are fully automated with the Dragonfly control system and the AAG CloudWatcher from Lunatico Astronomia.

We monitor the conditions closely ourselves throughout the night to ensure the safety of your equipment. We also have an on site weather station (BloomSky) which provides us with accurate data for monitoring the conditions, our customers also have access to this via an app.

Each pier is allocated approximately 1.7m², all piers have individual fused power supplies and wired internet connections (cat 5). Each observatory has the capability of holding 6 individual scopes.
